Presenter/Exhibitor Guides

Oral Presentations

Talks are scheduled for 20-minute slots. Please allow time within the 20-minutes for Q&A. The session chairs will be keeping you on time. Because we have concurrent sessions, there is no allowance for going over your allotted time slot.

Please use Microsoft PowerPoint for visuals. Bring your presentation to the conference on a thumb drive or CD. As soon as you arrive at the conference, please go to Registration to have your presentation uploaded to the program computers. If you will or do arrive within 30 minutes before your session begins, take your thumb drive or CD to the assigned room, and have it loaded onto the computer at the break before your session begins. If you think your arrival will be tight, you may also send your presentation to Jim Shannon by June 4. Please name your presentation file with your last name.

Poster Presentations

Posters will be hung on the walls of the Corinthian Hall with Sticky Tack putty (provided) . Therefore it will be preferable if your poster is printed on relatively light material. We have plenty of wall space, so there are no restrictions on size. You may also bring your poster on foam board, but please supply your own easel. Please see General Poster Guidelines and Tips for more info on creating a great poster.

Posters should be hung anytime on Wednesday, June 6, but not later than 5 PM. There is a dedicated Poster and Trade Show Social 6 PM - 9 PM on Wednesday. Please attend your poster at that time, to discuss it with interested conference participants. We encourage all poster presenters to leave their posters up through noon on Friday. If you need to leave earlier than Friday noon, please bring a shipping tube and talk to Eric Knudsen to have the poster sent back to you after the conference.

Exhibitors

The Trade Show will be held in the Corinthian Hall, along with the poster displays. Please set up exhibits and displays before 2 PM on Wednesday, June 6. All coffee breaks will be in this room to maximize exposure to the exhibits and posters. The first coffee break is at 3 PM on Wednesday. There is also a dedicated Poster and Trade Show Social 6 PM - 9 PM on Wednesday. Please leave your display exhibited until after the morning coffee break on Friday, June 8.

There is plenty of floor space in the Corinthian Hall. If you have specific power needs, please bring extension cords. Please contact Eric Knudsen if you have special needs.
